Privacy Policy

Giant Text collects nothing. It has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, and no advertising. It makes no network requests of any kind, so it works permanently in airplane mode. The text you type is stored on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account to create and no identifier assigned to you. We have no servers that receive anything from this app, because the app never contacts a server.

Giant Text contains no analytics, telemetry, attribution, advertising, or crash-reporting services, and no third-party SDKs of any kind.

• The text you type. Stored locally on your device using SwiftData so your message is still there the next time you open the app. It never leaves the device.
• Your settings. Theme, animation, font, letter spacing, line count, and appearance preferences are saved locally.
• Shared storage for the widget. So the Home Screen widget can display your current message, the app and the widget share a private App Group container (group.com.fennel.Giant-Text). This is an on-device sandbox shared only between Giant Text and its own widget. It is not iCloud, it is not synced, and no other app or service can read it.

Deleting the app removes all of it. There is nothing stored elsewhere for us to delete on your behalf, because we never had it.

Giant Text requests no permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or notifications.

Giant Text is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children specifically. We do not knowingly collect information from children, or from anyone else — we collect nothing from any user.

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. The data described above is under your control on your own device.

If this policy changes it will be updated here with a new effective date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this policy will say so plainly before that version ships.
