Giant Text privacy policy

Updated September 27, 2026. Developer: Nathan Fennel.

Local text and settings

Giant Text stores your current message and display preferences locally using SwiftData and device preferences. Its widget uses shared local app storage to show your message. The app has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, or developer-operated service receiving your text. It does not request camera, microphone, photos, contacts, location, or notification access.

Displaying your message

Your message is intended to be visible to people who can see your screen or widget. You can also choose to show it through your operating system’s screen mirroring, including AirPlay where available. These actions display the text you choose; they do not send it to a developer-operated service.

Retention and backups

You can edit or clear the current message in the app. Local app data can be removed using your operating system’s storage controls. System backups, restored data, screenshots, or copies you make separately may remain. Giant Text does not provide a developer account or online copy for the developer to delete.

Support and changes

If you contact Nathan Fennel, the information you choose to provide is used to answer your request. The support website has its own web privacy practices. This policy will be updated if the app’s practices change.
