Race To Dog Mountain - A Numbers Game privacy policy

Updated October 5, 2026. Developer: Nathan Fennel.

Local games and settings

The game stores player names, options, local races, move history, and head-to-head wins on your device. Solo and pass-and-play games work offline. Local progress is separate on each device. There is no developer-operated account service, advertising, or analytics SDK in the app.

Optional Game Center games

Friend races use Apple Game Center and require Game Center sign-in and an internet connection. The app sends the board size, starting numbers and row, Game Center player identifiers, and legal move history as match data. Scores and turns are reconstructed from that history; the app also records the match outcome in Game Center. Apple retains these account-linked matches so participants can return to their games. This information supports the game and is not used by this app for advertising or tracking. Game Center display names identify players in the app, and a copy of your friend-game inbox is cached on your device. Apple handles sign-in and its service under its own Game Center privacy practices.

Apple Watch and Messages

The Watch edition saves solo games locally. Optional friend-game access on Watch uses the paired iPhone: saved friend-game snapshots and move requests pass between your devices through Apple WatchConnectivity, and the phone submits authorized moves through Game Center. In a two-person Messages conversation, a game bubble contains the board and move history. The app prepares the bubble; you choose whether to send it using the native Messages control. Messages keeps its own local game cache. Apple handles delivery of Game Center games and messages.

Sharing and links

Sharing a finished race creates a local replay GIF from recorded moves, or a final-board image when no replay history is available. The exported file can include player names, board values, scores, and the app link. You choose a destination in the system share sheet. Opening the privacy or support website sends the usual website request to its hosting providers; support correspondence is separate from game play.

Deleting information

Removing the app deletes its local data, subject to operating-system backups and retention. Game Center matches, Messages conversations, exported files, and support correspondence may remain in the relevant Apple service, recipient app, or backup. Manage those copies through their respective controls.

Support and changes

If you contact the developer, the information you provide is used to respond to your request. This policy will be updated when the app's practices change.
