RR - RapidReads privacy policy

Updated September 27, 2026. Developer: Nathan Fennel.

Saved readings

RapidReads stores your saved text, reading library, cached Wikipedia excerpts and reading history, downloaded images, and reading preferences on your device. No app account is required. The app does not send your saved reading library to Nathan Fennel and has no advertising or analytics SDKs.

Wikipedia and images

Wikipedia searches send your search terms to Wikimedia, including while you type in the Wikipedia search field. Downloading article thumbnails contacts the image host. These services receive connection and request information, such as your IP address. Wikimedia may retain request information for security, operation, and service analysis, and may infer a general location from IP addresses, as described in its privacy policy. These requests do not include your saved reading library or clipboard content. Searching your saved library stays on your device, and saved readings can be used offline.

Clipboard and sharing

The app can paste text from your clipboard, including through its configurable automatic-paste setting. Sharing sends only the material you choose to the destination selected in the system share sheet.

Deleting information

You can delete saved readings in the app. Use the app and operating system storage controls to remove local data. Device backups may retain separate copies. Copies you export or share remain with their destinations.

Support and changes

If you contact the developer, the information you provide is used to respond to your request. This policy will be updated when the app's practices change.
