StandupStash support

Getting started
Use Continue and Back during setup, or choose Skip setup to start with the default questions. You can change your questions and preferences later in Settings. Writing a standup does not require AI service agreements or notification permission.
Add answers on the Standup screen and review saved entries in History. Copy or share an update when you are ready. On Apple Watch, open a question, tap the answer field, and use dictation or the keyboard. Answers save as you edit; a visible save error includes a retry option.
Sync between devices
Sign into the same Apple account on each device and allow StandupStash to use iCloud. Standups, questions, saved versions, and app preferences synchronize through your private iCloud database. Keep an internet connection available and allow time for updates to appear. Changes made while offline can sync later.
If information does not appear on another device, confirm the Apple account and iCloud access, reopen the app on both devices, and check for a storage or loading error. Use Retry if an error appears. Do not delete the app to troubleshoot before preserving any information that has not synced.
Reminders
In Settings, turn on Reminders on this device, allow notification access, and select your days and times. Play a sound controls sound or quiet alerts. Skip holidays and time off uses the dates you manage in Settings. Turning reminders off cancels the alerts scheduled by that device.
Enable reminders separately on each device where you want them. Delivery also follows system notification settings and Focus. Apple Watch may mirror your iPhone alerts according to its notification settings. If you skip time off, open the app monthly to keep the upcoming reminders current.
Voice input
Apple Watch and system keyboards provide dictation where available. On Mac, enable voice input in Settings and allow microphone and speech recognition access when prompted. Check the selected input device if speech is not picked up. You can always type an answer instead.
Optional summaries
An AI summary requires your request, agreement to sharing the chosen standup's questions and answers with the StandupStash service and OpenAI, an internet connection, and an available summary service. You can cancel the disclosure and continue using writing, history, and sharing. If a summary is unavailable, your saved standup remains usable. Check generated text before sharing it.
