Tic-Tic Tac-Tac Toe-Toe privacy

Updated October 4, 2026. This app, also called Ultimate Tic-Tac-Toe, is made by Nathan Fennel.

Local games and settings

You can play locally without an account or an internet connection. Completed games, moves, player marks, colors, settings, and downloaded artwork are stored on your device. Your operating system may include local app data in device backups. The app includes no advertising or analytics SDK and does not track you across apps or websites.

Optional games with friends

Online turn-based play uses Apple Game Center. If you choose this feature, Apple processes Game Center participant identifiers and display handles, moves, game outcomes, and selected character IDs so you can play with friends across devices. Other participants can see the shared game and your Game Center identity. Offline game history is not uploaded to the character service. Apple's privacy practices apply to Game Center.

Downloadable characters

The app includes 100 illustrations for offline play. While connected, it can check a public catalog on nathanfennel.com and download additional images through Amazon Web Services. Downloads are verified before use and cached on your device. These requests send ordinary network information, including your IP address, request time, requested file, and response status. Vercel and AWS host these files and may retain technical request logs and infer an approximate city or country from an IP address. This information is used to deliver and protect the service, not for advertising or cross-app tracking. The app does not request your device location, send your local games to this service, or upload personal images.

Device features and sharing

Device motion animates the background locally. Sounds, haptics, and the computer opponent run on your device. You can adjust them in Settings. Sharing a final board happens only when you choose Share and a destination in your device's share interface. Your selected destination's privacy practices apply. Support and privacy links open the website in a browser.

Removing data

Deleting the app removes its local games, settings, and cached images from that device. Manage backups through the operating system. Manage Game Center games and your account through Apple's Game Center settings and services.

Children

The same practices apply to all players. The app does not ask for a child's real name, contact information, precise location, or personal photographs. Optional online play uses the Game Center account and parental controls managed by Apple.
