Help for the prepared version 2.0.1 build 5.

Use your library

Add or edit recipes and keep notes, ratings, and cooking history locally. Use the app's data controls to inventory, export, or delete the selected library. Keep an export before replacing important content.

Online features

In Data & Privacy, Recipe Processing, contributions, Public Links, and Analytics are separate choices and start off. Enable only the features you want after reading their disclosures. Imports, AI tools, and public links also require a working configured service.

If an online request fails, check your network and the selected setting, then report the action and error. Online recipe processing and public links may be unavailable while service updates are being verified. Continue with local editing where available.

Revoke a public link

On the device that created it, open Data & Privacy > Manage Public Share Links. New links use a revocation credential saved separately in that device's Keychain. Turning off Public Links or deleting a local recipe does not revoke a link. Earlier links without a saved credential need a support request. Recipients can keep saved copies.

Storage and deletion

Local libraries, private iCloud copies, exports, imported image files, public links, analytics, and provider records are separate. Local deletion does not guarantee removal of all those copies. Manage Apple storage through system settings and read the privacy policy for service retention.
