The window with nothing on it

Open Browser for the first time and the first thing you notice is what is missing. No title bar, no traffic lights, no toolbar, no top tab strip. The page fills the window and the tabs live in a thin strip down the side.

Everything below takes about four minutes and gives you a working window to film against.

01Drag Browser to Applications, launch it, and accept the license on first run.The window opens without a title bar. Drag it by any empty part of the chrome.
02Try to quit. Hold the keys down.⌘QNothing happens for two seconds, then it quits. A mistyped ⌘Q never costs you a session.
03Decide whether to make it your default browser when it offers.The offer can be turned off in Settings, General.
04Open Help, then the shortcut overlay.⌘/⇧⌘HThe overlay lists every command in three columns. Type quickly while it is open and it fuzzy-searches the list.
05Open Settings and read the twelve pane names down the left.⌘,⌘FGeneral, Agent, Shortcuts, Autofill, Content, Newspaper, Downloads, Screenshots, Appearance, Security, Memory, Privacy. Most rows have an info button with a live demo of what the setting does. ⌘F searches every pane at once, jumps you to the match, and briefly highlights it, the same idiom as macOS System Settings search.
06Snap the window to a set size and position, then snap it to a screen edge with the arrow keys.⇧⌘F⇧⌘←⇧⌘→⇧⌘↑⇧⌘↓Settings, Appearance can also place the window on every launch at a chosen width and position. Pressing the same arrow again cycles through smaller sizes at that edge.

Worth filming

The cold open writes itself: a page with no browser around it, then ⇧⌘H to show that all the chrome moved to the keyboard.
