Your contact card, and nothing else

Autofill covers names, contact details, and postal addresses. It never touches passwords or payment cards, and it never writes to a page until you pick a suggestion.

01In Settings, Autofill, add yourself from Contacts.Contacts stays the source of truth. Browser stores who you picked and reads their current details when a form asks.
02Open any signup form and click into the name field.A suggestion appears. One pick fills every matching empty field on the page and leaves anything you already typed alone.
03Turn off a whole category, like phone numbers, and try the same form again.
04From the autofill menu, choose Never Autofill on This Site.Subdomains count as separate sites.
05Turn autofill off entirely without opening Settings.⌥⌘A
06Try the same form in an incognito tab.Off by default there, so a private tab does not hand over your real details. There is a switch if you want it anyway.
