NeverNote support

Help for version 1.2 build 5.

Write, format, and share

Edit your note and use the formatting controls for font, alignment, and text style. Use Share for text or an image. Import a photo for on-device text and QR recognition; a photo can remain with the note even when it contains no recognizable text.

Recover a saved note

If more than one earlier store exists, choose the file you want to open. If iCloud initialization fails, use the explicit local recovery option when offered. Do not erase an unreadable store to resolve a blank note. Save errors remain visible so you can retry while keeping your draft.

Clear and Undo

Clear changes the open note. Use the offered Undo action to restore its text and photo. Other local stores, migration backups, exports, and iCloud copies are separate; clearing a note does not remove every copy.

Linked image previews

Link detection starts off. Long-press an HTTP or HTTPS link to choose an image preview. Before enabling a new preview, read the notice about website requests and using only images you own or have permission to use. You are responsible for how you use them. Choose Load and show image to enable the preview, or Cancel to leave its current setting unchanged. Previously enabled previews may load again on reopening. Turn a preview off to stop new requests for that note. NeverNote does not provide a web-image license.

The site and any redirected image host receive the request and ordinary connection information. System cookies and caching may apply. Turning a preview off does not erase provider logs.

Apple services

Check that the expected Apple Account and iCloud access are available. Cloud sync timing and copies on other devices vary; successful cross-device syncing is not guaranteed here. Supported translation may require language downloads. On Apple Watch, Add appends typed or dictated text.

Get help

Include your app version, OS version, device, and the error or recovery choice you saw. Keep private note text and photos out of an initial support report.
