Game Toolkit · Effective date: July 21, 2026

Summary

Game Toolkit has no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. Your players and scores are stored on your device and synced through your own private iCloud database, which we cannot read. The app touches the network for exactly two optional things: that iCloud sync, and searching for game color themes — which sends the search text and nothing else. The app is fully functional with neither.

Who we are

What we collect

Nothing. We do not collect, receive, sell, or share any personal data. There is no account to create and no identifier assigned to you. The app contains no analytics, telemetry, attribution, advertising, or crash-reporting services.

What stays on your device (and in your iCloud)

  • Players and scores. Names, colors, turn order, and round-by-round scores are stored on your device with SwiftData. If you are signed in to iCloud, Apple syncs them between your devices through your private CloudKit database. That database belongs to your Apple Account; we have no access to it and receive nothing from it. Signing out of iCloud stops sync; the app keeps working locally.
  • Your settings. Dice, timer, theme, appearance, sound, and haptics preferences are saved locally.
  • Downloaded themes. Game color themes you have used are cached on the device so they keep working offline.

Deleting the app removes the local data. To also remove synced data from iCloud, delete the app's data under Settings › iCloud on your device — it is your database, under your control.

Theme search

When you search for a game's color theme (during onboarding or from the theme picker), the app sends the search text to our theme service so it can return matching palettes. The request contains the query and standard network metadata only — no name, no account, no device identifier, no advertising ID. Queries are not used to build profiles and are not shared or sold. Our hosting provider (Vercel) may retain routine, short-lived server logs for security and operations, as virtually all web infrastructure does.

Theme search is optional and clearly initiated by you; browsing the built-in themes never touches the network, and if the service is unreachable the app quietly carries on with the themes it already has.

Permissions

Game Toolkit requests no permissions. It does not use the camera, microphone, photo library, contacts, location, or notifications. (iCloud sync uses silent background updates that require no permission prompt and show nothing on screen.)

Children

Game Toolkit is suitable for all ages and is not directed at children specifically. We do not knowingly collect information from children, or from anyone else — we collect nothing from any user.

Your rights

Privacy laws such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, or delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to return or erase. Your game data lives on your devices and in your own iCloud account, both under your control.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes it will be updated here with a new effective date. If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this policy will say so plainly before that version ships.
